Club meeting called to order at 7:15 pm by President Carl.
Door Prize: Set of Colonial / Revolutionary War Currency replicas were won by Glen Dean.
Membership Prize: 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar graded ANACS MS-66 won by David Beveridge.
President Carl reminded everyone of our Fur Rondy Coin Show to be held on the last weekend of February and the first weekend of March (at the University Center). The club has a 1/8 page ad in the Fur Rondy Guide (Anchorage Daily News) and an official listing as a Fur Rondy event for both weekends. Table fees will be $45/table to cover both weekends. These moneys are being used to pay for the 1/8 page ad. Members wishing o get tables were asked to put in their reservations as we have a limited number of tables and display cases available.
Final announcement of Election of Officers was given by President Carl. Formal Election of Officers for this year to be held at our club's March 4th membership meeting. Elections will be held for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two Board member positions. Per our club by-laws, the 3rd Board member position is held by the past club president.
Carl (our current president) cannot run for this year as the club by-laws require the President cannot serve three consecutive years, So.... a new club president will need to be elected this year. Interested members can submit their names for any of these positions right up to the day of the election (on March 4th).
No new business.
Presentation was given by Glen Dean on the subject of "Hobo Nickels".
Following the presentation, our club's monthly raffle prize, an 1880-S Morgan Dollar in MS62/63 condition was won by Bill Rodeck.
The club's monthly Silent and Live Auctions were then conducted. Silent auction items estimated at $9 or less. Live auction items estimated at $10 or more.
Club meeting concluded at 8:45 pm following the monthly auction.
Board meeting called to order at 6:40 pm by President Carl. Meeting held at the Yamato Ya Japanese Restaurant (located next to the University Center).
First order of business was review of correspondence.
Discussion of raffle prizes for this year by Board:
First Prize: 1830 U.S. Bust Half Dollar in VG condition (donation from member Dan Barnhart). Won by: Jacques Alleva.
Second Prize: 2010 Lincoln Cent (Union Shield) NGC MS65 Red. Won by: Bill Rodeck.
Third Prize: 1970 Roosevelt Dime NTC Certified MS-64. Won by: Maribel Nakata.

Election of club officers scheduled for March 4th membership meeting. As of the ACC Board meeting, the following members have agreed to run and serve in the following officer positions:
For President: Glen Dean
For Vice-President: Position is open.
For Secretary: Larry Nakata
For Treasurer: Stan Mead
For Board Officer #1 Position: Tim Burke
For Board Officer #2 Position: John Larson.
Third Board Officer Position to be filled by Carl (per club by-laws) as the outgoing Club President.
Club members can still submit their names for office positions up to Election Day (on Tuesday, March 4th).
For our March 4th Membership Meeting:
Presentation will be from Stan Mead on the subject of "The Progression of Com Grading-Then and Now".
Food for the meeting will be a potluck with the club supplying two Subway Party Platters and sodas. Club members asked to bring side dishes, salads, and desserts.
As there was no further business to discuss, Board meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm
