| 1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar ICG VF-25 (VF-20) | |
| Description: Attractive natural gray silver color. Uncleaned, no problems, no adjustment marks. ICG graded VF-25, I grade it VF-20. Three leaves under the eagles wings variety. The exact variety is BB-27 (Bowers Brockhardt 27), also categorized as Bolender-5 and Haseltine-5. Die state 1 (perfect reverse) with no evidence of a die break beginning at the left stem on the reverse. Die state 1 coins represent about 1 out of 20 to 30 of the BB-27 dollars in existence according to Bowers. Scarce as such. Little hair detail remaining as normal for this variety in VF grade due to the obverse head punch being impressed too deeply into the obverse die causing the hair detail to wear away prematurely. Discount priced right at Graysheet bid for the VF-20 grade due to the minimal hair detail even though that is normal for this die variety. | |

| 1798 Draped Bust Large Eagle Silver Dollar ANACS EF net VF-20 | |
| Description: The slab says that this dollar is corroded and cleaned, but that is a very harsh description. It looks quite decent, and I have seen much worse sold as no problem coins. Just a bit of minor pitting on the reverse, otherwise a nice original looking coin. No adjustment marks. Price reduced by half from the regular EF price. | |

| Description: Nice original Extra Fine bust halves. No adjustment marks or other problems. New ANACS slab. Listed as Bolender-6 variety. | |

| 1798 Draped Bust Large Eagle Silver Dollar ICG EF-40 | |
| Description: Bolender-10 variety. Also known as BB-109 from
the Bowers silver dollar encyclopedia. A scarce variety of which Mr. Bowers
estimates that between 75 and 125 specimens exist in all grades. This
particular piece was in the Warren Miller collection, and is notated as such
on the slab. Mr. Miller collected 114 of the 118 varieties of early dollars.
His collection in it's entirety was slabbed by ICG and was displayed by ICG
at the ANA show in New York in 2002.
The Bowers dollar encyclopedia notes that this variety is always weak in the central areas on both sides, as is this specimen. The toning level is generally light with a mixture of blue and gold on the obverse and mostly gold on the reverse though there is some blue in the area of the clouds on the reverse. |

| Description: No problems, decent eye appeal. Hard to locate without problems. Only the slightest trace of adjustment marks on the reverse, not at all distracting. Some original luster remains. Excellent color, as so many of these early coins are very dark. Bargain priced as an EF-40. | |

| Description: Attractive, original Bust dollar. No adjustment marks at all. Really has very little wear, with all hair details fully visible. Listed as Bolender-28 variety or BB-118, the only variety which uses this reverse die. | |

| Description: Good-4 details net AG-3, Plugged. Plugged at the 12:00 position. Reasonably well done and not immediately noticeable. The gray toning is even across the plugged area so it is not at all distracting. Accurately described and graded by ANACS. | |

| 1800 Draped Bust Dollar ANACS AU Details Net EF-45 | |
| Description: Net graded by half a grade due to two minor obverse scratches. One is on the lower part of the bust and the other is in front of Miss Liberty's face. Both are thin and shallow and not very distracting at all, being well hidden under a very attractive light gold tone. The light gold color is enhanced by luster remaining in protected areas. No adjustment marks and scarce as such. Discounted by $2400 or about 1/3 due to the minor scratches. | |

| Description: Dave Bowers, in his two volume silver dollar encyclopedia, says that the 1845 seated liberty dollar may well be the rarest Philadelphia date in the entire series, even more so than the more famous rarities of 1851 and 1852. Nice original antique gray toning. Excellent eye appeal for the grade, and only half the price of a MS-63. The surfaces are semi prooflike. New ANACS slab. | |
